About World Malayalee Council
Formed on July 3, 1995 in New Jersey, USA.

WMC was formed to network Malayalees around the world. The mission of WMC is to create a global Malayalee community able to communicate and co operate each other and continue the connection through generations thus maintaining the Malayalee identity for years to come. WMC is a movement of Malayalees propagating change in the attitude of a Malayalee to make them better human beings and demand the members to undergo the following five way tests.

Dallas Province

World Malayalee Council Dallas Province came into existence on February 28th, 1997 at a modest function at Evans Community Center, Mesquite in Dallas, Texas. The small group that gathered at the opening function has gathered strength in number and activities and has since forged to the forefront of WMC provinces across the globe and has since occupied the leadership position in conceiving and implementing community support and charitable projects in the local community and in various communities across the globe.

We are proud of our achievements and hope to spread the horizon of services further. With utmost modesty, and gratitude to our various committed leaders so far, we list some of the memorable events in the history of our province during the course of our existence.

Objectives

• To provide a meeting point for interested Keralites all over the World to open up new possibilities or their mutual growth, and better understanding, by exploring their inherited rich culture and values.
• To facilitate a dynamic link between the Malayalee experience, expertise, and entrepreneurship, in the developing and developed countries, for the invigoration of the Malayalee Community at large, and the Kerala State in particular.
• To point out and recognize Malayalee talents, skills, and intelligence on a global level that they may be mobilized for the enhancement of professional development, career development, and technological break-through.
• To organize an international network of Keralites of different age groups to constantly communicate, share, and update their knowledge base.
• To create a cultural awakening in the Malayalee Diaspora, scattered worldwide, and to instill in them the openness of culling out the cream of all cultures, paving the way of a World harmony.
